SpatialSim terms & privacy
SpatialSim is BogdansLab's 3D room planner, at spatialsim.bogdanslab.com. It uses your BogdansLab account, and BogdansLab's Terms, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy apply to it. This page adds only what is specific to SpatialSim; it's part of those texts.
1. Your projects
- Projects you save are kept privately in your account — only you can open them.
- How many you can keep depends on your plan: Free 2, Pro and AI Pro 9, plus any extra slots. Each project has a size limit (very large scenes can't be saved).
- While you work, SpatialSim also keeps an automatic copy of your current project in your browser, so a closed tab doesn't lose it. That copy stays on your device.
- You can delete a project at any time. Deleting your BogdansLab account deletes all of them.
2. Share links
- Share creates a link to a copy of your design. Anyone who has the link can view it — signed in or not. The link doesn't show who shared it.
- The copy is fixed: later changes to your project don't change it.
- Links don't expire. They're deleted when you delete your account; to remove one sooner, write to contact@bogdanslab.com with the link.
- You can create up to 20 links a day.
- Don't put anything private in a shared design — for example your address or names in a project's title.
3. Plans
- SpatialSim has Free, Pro and AI Pro plans. Today they can't be bought: the owner gives Pro to testers.
- When paid plans open, their price, what they include and your right to withdraw and get a refund will be shown before you pay, and this page will be updated first.
- The AI layout assistant is not available yet. When it comes, this page will explain what it sends and to whom before it's switched on.
4. Your designs, and our models
- Your designs are yours. We store and show them only as described here.
- The furniture models, textures and the editor itself belong to BogdansLab or are used under their own licences. You may use them inside SpatialSim, including in screenshots of your designs; please don't extract or reuse them elsewhere.
- SpatialSim helps you imagine a space. Sizes and positions are approximate: measure for real before you buy, build or renovate. We aren't responsible for decisions made only on a SpatialSim design.
5. What SpatialSim keeps
| What | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| Your saved projects (name, room sizes and shape, furniture and their places, rooms, styles) | To keep your work for you | Until you delete the project or your account |
| Your share links (a copy of the design, when it was shared) | So anyone with the link can view it | Until you delete your account, or ask us to remove one |
| Your plan (Free, Pro, AI Pro), extra slots and Sparks | To apply your plan's limits | Until you delete your account |
| Your theme (dark or light) | So SpatialSim looks the way you chose | Until you delete your account |
Legal basis: contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) — it's what you use SpatialSim for. It's stored with the rest of your account in the EU (Frankfurt), by the services listed in the Privacy Policy; SpatialSim adds no other service, no analytics and no advertising. Your dashboard's Export my data includes everything above.
6. What SpatialSim keeps in your browser
SpatialSim is an app that runs in your browser, so it keeps a few things in your browser's local storage on spatialsim.bogdanslab.com. All are needed for what you asked for; none track you.
| Item | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
sb-…-auth-token | Keeps you signed in to SpatialSim | Until you sign out |
sb-…-code-verifier | Only while you sign in with Google | A few minutes |
| The automatic copy of your current project | So a closed tab doesn't lose your work | Until you start a new project, or clear it |
spatialsim_theme | Remembers dark or light | Until you clear it |
spatialsim_cookie_ack | Remembers you've seen the notice about this | Until you clear it |
The fonts are served by SpatialSim itself. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it (you'll be signed out; saved projects stay in your account).
